I lead GlenOak High School, the largest comprehensive high school in Stark County. We are comprised of more than 2,000 students, 135 staff members and four administrators. We pride ourselves on creating high school graduates who are prepared to compete in the 21st century.
Choosing Mount Union
I chose to attend Mount Union because of its size, tradition and proximity to home. It’s different from other colleges because of the authentic lifelong relationships students make not only with students but with faculty and staff.

My Mount Union education provided me with a broad view of education as well as authentic and relevant learning experiences that replicated into best instructional practices. As an early childhood education major I also was able to network with leading theorists in the field of education.
Involvement On Campus
As an undergraduate, I played football and was a member of the Black Student Union and the Dowling Mentor Program.

My first job out of college was serving as a sixth grade science teacher at Lehman Middle School (Canton City Schools).

To this day, I still remain friends with the people I met while attending Mount Union. I also do my best to attend alumni and campus events as much as possible including the Black Student Union alumni gatherings and M Club events.
未来的目标
One day I’d like to earn my doctoral degree and lead a school district.
